Good Morning Reception
This morning I thought we would do our sounds warm up and then some dough gym.
We enjoy doing dough gym in school every week and it helps our fingers and pencil grip ready for our writing. I have added the recipe below for your grown-up if they have the ingredients in.
Do not worry if you do not have dough, you can just do it on your hands like we have to do when our dough is too sticky!
Don't forget show and tell on zoom this afternoon.
This morning I would like you to work on your handwriting. There are some booklets in your home learning packs for those of you that print.
If you do cursive writing in school make sure you try to do your letters in cursive.

Good Afternoon Reception
How are you this afternoon?
This afternoon I would like you to warm up with your number recognition work. I have added a video below for you to warm up with.
We have been looking at 2D shapes this week and so I thought it would be nice to finish with some shape picture work.
Look at the shape worksheets below.
Can you count the correct number of each shape you can see?
In your pack there are some 2D shape sheets.
You need to cut the shapes out to make a picture.
You could even draw your own shape picture.
I would like you to think about what you are proud about this week and about what you are thankful for.
You may be proud of your counting or handwriting.
You may be proud of yourself because you have been good or you have managed to do something on your own.
You may be thankful for your grown-ups or your brother or sister.
Have a think and tell your grown-up.
I am proud of my own two children (Dominic and Isabelle) because they are trying hard with their online learning at home and do not give up when their work is tricky.
I am thankful for all of the key workers that are working really hard.
Have a lovely weekend.
Keep smiling and keep safe.
Love from Mrs Martin
