How are you today?

This morning we are going to continue with the Three Snow Bears story.

Today we are going to think about making a story map.

We normally have lots of fun making story maps and it is a good way we can recall the story. 

Adults- a story map is the story recalled through pictures.

The children draw the pictures as they recall the story (see the example below). 

I have added the pictures on a sheet below if you would prefer the children to cut them out and stick them in their book rather than drawing. 

Once you have made your story map I would like you to use it to retell the story to your adult.

We are going to continue with our 2D shapes. 

Can you name the shapes? 

Can you count how many sides? 

Can you count how many corners? 

Today we are going to be counting the number of sides and corners on our 2D shapes.

Final challenge

This afternoon we are going to be continuing with our RE. 

We are still thinking about stories Jesus heard. 

Today's story is called 'Daniel and the Lion's Den'.  

Read the story (ppt) below and answer the following questions. 

1. Who was Daniel?

2. Why was he the kings favourite?

3. Why did Daniel pray to God? 

4. Where did Daniel end up?

5. What happened when Daniel was in the lion's den?

6. How did Daniel get out of the Den?
