Year 2

Welcome to Year 2!

In Year 2 we are doing lots of smart learning about a variety of topics.

Our first topic was Fabulous Fire! We learned all about The Great Fire of London, and were even visited by our local fire station!
As part of our English topic we visited our local library.

Science Learning

As part of our Living things topic we identified different habitats animals belonged in. Then, we discussed why we thought they were suitable for that particular habitat.

Well done to those children who took part in our home learning challenge for our Deep Sea Explorers Topic!

Your work looks fantastic!

We loved learning about Christingles, and enjoyed making our own!
This Spring we have been working extremely hard!

Last term we enjoyed learning all about India!

At the end of our topic we performed our class assembly. This was a great chance to show our families and friends how much we have learned and how much we enjoyed our topic!

Our assembly included poetry, acting, artwork and lots of interesting facts!

Last term our topic was 'Things that go bump in the night'.

We learned all about nocturnal animals and how they can survive. Then, we went on a trip to Knowsley Safari Park too see different types of nocturnal creatures such as snakes, bats and owls!
