Cracking Coastline!

Welcome to our very first topic in Year 2 which is... Cracking Coastline!

This topic will involve lots of fun and exciting learning opportunities all about the seaside! We will be learning about the popular seaside towns around the United Kingdom aswell as  learning about the features of the seaside. We'll learn about seasides past and present and explore a specific seaside town.

We will even be making our own light-up lighthouses! How cool is that!

Lovely Lighthouses!

We has such good fun making our light-up lighthouses! We firstly had to make circuits to make our bulbs light up, which was the trickiest part... but not for us!

We then painted our lighthouses and made a base, we needed a little help from Mrs Jones and Mrs Porter to attach it altogether, they even had a competition against each other to see who was best! laugh
